www.vacuumwizard.com Dyson Root 6 review by Ashley S. – The Dyson DC16 is a very powerful cordless handheld vacuum. The suction strength from this vacuum was so strong that we had not difficulty picking up fine particle flour, medium particle rice and large particle beans from our carpet. You will notice that the cleaning area is not very big on this vacuum so it takes a while if you want to clean more than a small area. The Root 6 did a great job with cleaning particles from hard surface floor and you will notice that the suction is more than adequate to suck up large particles. We were actually surprised at how well the vacuum performed on pet hair. The only complaint was that with the combination tool, some of the hair would get stuck at the bottom. This would be a problem if you were cleaning large volumes of pet hair at a time. The Dyson Root 6 hand vacuum fell into our moderate noise category. It’s not so loud that you need earplugs but you definite will not be able to talk over the noise of the vacuum. The particle emission did jump slightly when testing the particles coming out of the exhaust. This means that the rinsable filters are not catching all of the particles before being released into the air and this could be an issue for someone suffering from asthma or allergies.
